The Billboard Creative 2025

I’m excited to share some great news: my portrait of Cybersissy and BayBJane has been selected for this year’s Billboard Creative exhibition in Los Angeles! Throughout April, the piece will be displayed on a large billboard, bringing art to the streets of LA.

This is a wonderful opportunity, and I look forward to seeing the work in the City of Angels. It’s also a great reason to visit LA and create some new portraits while I’m there, so stay tuned for updates!

Here’s some background on The Billboard Creative (TBC):
TBC is a Los Angeles-based nonprofit changing how art is shared. By using billboards as canvases, offering artist grants, and sharing stories, TBC makes art more accessible and breaks down barriers in the art world. They believe art should be available to everyone, and I’m happy to be part of their mission.

Inspiring Student Visit

In other news, last week I had the pleasure of hosting students from the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague at my home during their network week! It was such an inspiring morning filled with great energy, and it brought back fond memories of my own student days.
