Highlights from my trip to Los Angeles
I’ve just returned from an incredibly inspiring trip to Los Angeles. The past ten days have been full of color, energy, and unforgettable moments.
One of the absolute highlights was seeing my portrait featured on a billboard as part of The Billboard Creative Exhibition – something I never imagined when I first picked up a camera.
Besides that, I took time to explore the city, wander through Hollywood, and soak up everything L.A. has to offer. What a ride!
Sunset, Denny’s and a pink legend
During my time in L.A., I arranged a meeting with the original Billboard Queen herself: ANGELYNE. I photographed her in the parking lot of her favorite spot, Denny’s on West Sunset Boulevard, in front of her equally iconic pink Corvette.
Back in the ’80s, ANGELYNE became a true Los Angeles icon through her mysterious self-promotional billboards across the city. So how fitting that I had the chance to photograph her during my own billboard debut?
It wasn’t the easiest shoot. She insisted on reviewing every photo, and if one didn’t meet her standards, it had to be deleted on the spot. But honestly, I loved every minute of it. You don’t get a legend like this in front of your lens every day.

Something about the silence behind the Hollywood Sign really stuck with me, a view I won’t forget anytime soon.
